Perform duties and assignments in one or both areas of the finance and accounting function. Involved in maintaining and/or developing the TSYS accounting system or developing financial reports, performing analysis and providing TSYS management with recommendations and information upon which to base business decisions. Prepares financial reports to meet industry and statutory requirements. Develops and maintains an internal budgeting and forecasting system. Evaluates and/or develops pricing plans and proposals for the company’s products and services. Employee assigned to this job family exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing work, which directly supports the business management of TSYS.


Works under close supervision. Performs detailed accounting assignments requiring a basic knowledge of accounting theory and principles. Performs assigned tasks relative to assisting in maintaining accurate accounting records and preparing financial statements and reports. Gathers data and compiles information to prepare entries and update reports. Reviews and analyzes journal vouchers, accounting assignments such as: analyzing trial balances, recommending adjustments and closing entries, preparing profit and loss statements, inventory, receipts and disbursements, balance sheets, computing and distributing labor, material and overhead costs. Participates in performing specialized financial, accounting or planning functions such as budgeting, auditing, financial planning, taxes, consolidations and the like. Assists in preparing recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action.



Four year college degree in Finance or Accounting and no related experience is required.
